History columns

Operation identifies rename, rollback, or snapshot restore. Field change shows source and destination names. Records show the target count and the snapshot, copy, verification, and conflict totals. Created records the UTC start time, administrator, and backup-confirmation audit.

Status glossary

Scanning and queued states precede writes. Snapshotting, copying, and verifying describe the active data phases. Pending Cutover waits for a Local JSON definition. Completed means recorded values passed verification and the target definition is active. Paused Conflict records a condition that requires review. Cancelled identifies a safely abandoned operation.

• Active states continue from the saved cursor.
• Recoverable paused states keep write protection in place.
• Completed rows may offer rollback, snapshot restore, cleanup, or purge based on their current prerequisites.

Recovery actions

Rollback latest values creates a reverse operation from the current destination values. Restore original snapshot returns to the values captured before the original rename. Clean old metadata removes unchanged retained source pairs. Purge snapshot removes one operation's raw recovery values while retaining its history.

Paused rows

A paused row includes the recorded error and actions that match the safe state. Correct the definition or metadata conflict, then use Resolve and resume. Safely abandon is offered before cutover when Field Renamer can remove only the unchanged destination pairs created by that job.
